In Kastamonu Province, 2 people died and 5 were injured in a traffic accident on the Ağlı–Seydiler road
On September 1, a car accident occurred on the Ağlı–Seydiler road in the Gölceğiz area of Kastamonu Province: a passenger car and a light commercial van collided, resulting in two deaths and five injuries. According to Gündem Kıbrıs, the incident happened on the morning of September 1.
According to the report, the van with license plate 37 BB 318 veered into a roadside drainage ditch and overturned, after which it collided with a car with license plate 37 KK 797. Hatice Duygu K. and Gülşen K., who were in the van, died at the scene; the injured A.C. (43), R.K. (30), S.S. (65), E.C.B. (30), and E.C. (43) were transported by ambulance crews to local hospitals.
Official police comments on the cause of the accident have not yet been released, and an investigation is underway. The publication notes that the identities of the drivers have not yet been established.
