50 Memorial Trees Planted in Serhatköy as Part of "One Tree, One Memory" Campaign
A tree-planting campaign titled "Bir Fidan Bir Anı" ("One Sapling, One Memory"), organized by the SOS Çocukköyü association, took place in the village of Serhatköy.
According to the organization, the event was held with the participation of Forestry Department representatives. Donors, volunteers, and association members planted a total of 50 saplings—48 eucalyptus and two tamarisk trees.
It was noted that during the campaign, participants were able to honor the memory of their loved ones, and memorial trees were also planted in honor of the "Champion Angels."
Under the "Memorial Donation" program, the association provides the opportunity to plant a tree in the name of someone who left a significant mark on the lives of family or friends. Applications can be submitted through the organization's official website, after which planting is carried out in specially designated areas.
SOS Çocukköyü thanked all donors, volunteers, and partners who took part in the campaign.
