Major Renovations Underway at SOS Children's Village in Northern Cyprus
A major infrastructure renovation project is being implemented at the SOS Children's Village in Northern Cyprus as part of a partnership with the Union of Building Contractors (KTİMB).
The project is scheduled for 5 years and aims to improve children's living conditions. Significant work has already been completed in the first phase: 30 bathrooms were renovated in 13 houses, plumbing was replaced, interiors were repaired and painted, and exterior work was carried out.
All costs for materials and labor were covered by the Contractors' Union.
The second phase is planned for the near future, including updating street lighting and renovating the kindergarten on the complex grounds.
The organization emphasized that the main goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment for children, as close as possible to a home atmosphere.
