Triple murder suspect detained in Istanbul

Istanbul police have detained a man believed to be responsible for a triple murder that occurred on November 11 in the Büyükçekmece district.
At that time, a woman, Melisa Kölekçi, was found shot dead in a room at the Mimar Sinan hotel, and just 20 meters away, in a parked car on a side road of the D-100 highway, the bodies of two men — Emre Güçlü and Emrah Yılmaz — were discovered. According to the investigation, an unknown person approached the car with license plate 39 ADZ 818, shot both men, and fled the scene; one died on the spot, the other later in hospital.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, H.K. (32), allegedly first shot the woman in the hotel room and then killed the two men in the nearby car with two shots.
After several weeks of search, the Homicide Department of the Criminal Investigation Division located the address of the wanted man. H.K. was detained in the Avcılar district of Istanbul and taken to the police station.
After the completion of questioning, he is expected to be handed over to the court.
