Applications Open for Near East University Entrance Exams in Northern Cyprus

Applications for the Near East University entrance exam in Northern Cyprus are now open, with a deadline of May 23, 2025. Candidates can submit their applications online.

According to the university's press office, the "TRNC Student Admission and Scholarship Distribution Exam" for the 2025-2026 academic year, organized by Near East University, will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The exam will be conducted in a single session on the university's campus.

Who Can Apply?

The exam is open to:

• Citizens of the TRNC, and
• Turkish citizens who have completed the last four years of their secondary education in the TRNC.

Successful candidates will gain admission to approximately 500 undergraduate and graduate programs across 21 faculties, 4 colleges, and 2 vocational schools at Near East University.

How to Apply

Candidates must submit their applications no later than Friday, May 23, 2025.

For TRNC Citizens

Applications can be submitted in person at the Near East University Student Registration and Admissions Office with the following documents:

• Completed exam application form
• Photocopy of TRNC ID card
• One passport-sized photo

For Turkish Citizens

Turkish students must submit:

• A photocopy of their identity card
• One biometric photo
• A document proving they have completed four uninterrupted years of secondary education in the TRNC
