Driver Fined for Public Urination on the Side of the Road in the TRNC

The Lapta – Alsancak – Çamlıbel municipality has fined a man who stopped his car on Karoglanoğlu Street and urinated on the roadside. The mayor of the city referred to the offender as a "shameless person.”

The incident, which took place at the end of last week, was shared by Mayor Fırat Ataser on social media.

According to the mayor, during the evening rush hour, the driver stopped his car in the middle of the road and committed the indecent act.

"Look at this shameless person! I was speechless," the mayor wrote, urging the police to take action.

Later, the mayor posted another update, stating that the offender had been penalized.

"Our municipal security team, in collaboration with the police, identified the individual and fined him. We will not tolerate those who disrupt order and pollute our environment," said the mayor.
