No School Closures in the TRNC Despite Storm Warning
TRNC Minister of National Education, Nazım Çavuşoğlu, announced that despite the storm warning issued by the Meteorology Department due to strong winds, schools will continue operating as usual.
In his statement, Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the weather conditions are not severe enough to pose a risk to the safety of students and teachers, and therefore, classes will proceed as planned.
- “We have reviewed the latest updates from the Meteorology Department and determined that there is no need to suspend school activities,” the minister said.
It’s worth noting that Northern Cyprus was hit by a severe storm over the weekend, and the storm warning has been extended for today.
