Emergency Weather Warning Issued for Northern Cyprus – February 11 Forecast
The TRNC Meteorology Department has issued an emergency weather warning for Tuesday, February 11, as a low-pressure system and cold, humid air are set to impact Northern Cyprus.
Meteorologists are predicting heavy rain, thunderstorms, and hail across the region, prompting officials to urge residents to take precautions.
Temperatures will be 2-4°C below the seasonal average, with most areas seeing highs between 10-15°C.
Winds will blow moderately from the northeast, but no storms are expected. The weather warning will be in effect from 4:00 AM until approximately 2:00 PM.
The heaviest rainfall is expected along the northern coastline, and authorities have advised residents to stay alert and take necessary safety measures.
