Fires in Vadili and Kyrenia Cause Significant Damage
Two fires broke out in Northern Cyprus, resulting in substantial material damage. A workshop in a shed was destroyed in the village of Vadili, and a car caught fire in a parking lot in Kyrenia.

According to emergency services, the fire in the shed, located in the garden of a private home on Aksaray Street and used as a workshop, occurred yesterday at approximately 11:30 PM. Preliminary reports suggest the fire was caused by a short circuit in a mobile electrical cable running from the house to the shed.
The fire caused damage to the structure itself and destroyed the belongings inside. Firefighters who arrived at the scene were able to bring the flames under control. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
Meanwhile, a fire broke out in a moving vehicle in a parking lot on Karaoglanoglu Street in Kyrenia this morning at around 8:00 AM. The cause appears to be a short circuit that ignited the car’s electrical components.
Local residents used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames. The fire completely destroyed the front part of the vehicle.
