IKAS HEALTH RUN: Northern Cyprus to Host Its First Public Cross-Country Race
On Sunday, January 19, Northern Cyprus will host its first-ever IKAS HEALTH RUN, a cross-country race to be held on the Near East University campus.
The event is organized by IKAS Supermarket in partnership with the Athletics Federation.
Runners of all levels, from seasoned athletes to amateurs, are invited to participate in the 10-kilometer races. Competitors will be grouped into a general classification and five age categories. Exciting prizes and gifts await all participants.
The grand prize for the race is 30,000 TL, while the second and third-place winners will receive 20,000 TL and 10,000 TL, respectively.
Those interested in joining can register at IKAS Supermarket by 5:00 PM on January 17. Students from Near East University can participate free of charge.
According to the organizers, the event aims to encourage a healthier lifestyle, foster a greater appreciation for sports, and inspire the community to adopt healthier habits.
