Vice President and representative of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye arrived for the anniversary of TRNC

Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz and representative of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Bekir Bozdag arrived in Northern Cyprus to take part in the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the TRNC. The guests were met at Ercan Airport by Prime Minister Ünal Yustel and other officials.
 
During a joint press conference on the occasion of the arrival of the Turkish delegation, Ünal Yustel emphasized that Turkey's contribution to the creation, survival and rise of the Republic is enormous and invaluable.
 
The Prime Minister thanked Türkiye for its attention to the anniversary of the creation of the TRNC and wished a peaceful and calm future in the region.
 
Vice President of Turkey Cevdet Yilmaz thanked for the hospitality and noted that the delegation arrived on the island on the anniversary of the creation of the TRNC, which is the star of the Turkish Cypriot struggle for existence, and wished the country another 40 long years of sovereignty and independence.
 
“I would like to reiterate that we will support the decisive steps taken by the Turkish Cypriots towards a prosperous future and that we will continue to be a source of confidence for the TRNC,” said the Vice President of the Turkish Republic.
