Eastern Mediterranean University held a healthy eating event during Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Eastern Mediterranean University in Famagusta, Northern Cyprus, organized a healthy eating event as part of the October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The initiative was carried out by the Nutrition and Diet Club in collaboration with the Tourism Club.
As part of the event, students prepared healthy snacks in the Teaching Kitchen of the Faculty of Tourism and distributed them to staff of the Rector's Office, students, and campus personnel. The aim of the event was to raise awareness about breast cancer and highlight the role of healthy eating in improving quality of life and disease prevention.
University Rector Professor Hasan Kılıç, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Professor Osman M. Karatepe, and Vice Rector for Student Affairs Professor Sonuç Zorlu attended the event, where club representatives presented details of the initiative. University leadership expressed support for student initiatives and emphasized the importance of projects aimed at public health.
