Introduction to Higher Education Opportunities in TRNC Held in Azerbaijan
A Higher Education Promotion Fair showcasing educational opportunities in the TRNC has commenced in Azerbaijan. Organized by the Ministry of National Education, the event aims to acquaint attendees with the educational offerings in universities across Northern Cyprus and foster educational collaboration between the two nations.
The opening ceremony of the fair was held at the Holiday Inn hotel in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku. It saw the participation of TRNC Minister of Education Nazim Chavushoglu, Azerbaijani deputy Hikmet Babaoglu, TRNC Ambassador to Baku Ufuk Turganer, ministry officials, university rectors, and Azerbaijani students studying in the TRNC.
Throughout the fair, 11 universities operating in the TRNC presented their diverse programs and scholarship opportunities to visitors.
Attendees, including students, academics, and education professionals, had the chance to gather comprehensive information about educational prospects in the TRNC.
During his speech at the opening ceremony, Minister Nazim Cavushoglu highlighted that numerous Azerbaijani students have graduated from TRNC universities and are now occupying prominent positions.
"We take pride in the accomplishments of our Azerbaijani peers, who share our language, and we aspire for Azerbaijani and Turkish Cypriot communities to connect and acknowledge each other," expressed the minister.
