"Strength Run" Scheduled for August 1 on Kyrenia-Nicosia Main Road
The “Strength Run” will take place on August 1 along the main Kyrenia-Nicosia road. Organized by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Athletics Federation, the event is set to run from 06:00 to 09:00.
The race will begin at the Bogazkoy Security Forces Command Headquarters. Runners will follow the Kyrenia-Nicosia main road, continue through Nicosia’s city streets, and finish in front of the TMT Mujahideen Association.
Participants will be accompanied by a motorized police escort. All intersections and roundabouts along the route will be temporarily closed to traffic.
Drivers are advised to adhere to speed limits and pay close attention to road signs and markings during the event.
Please note that August 1 is Social Resistance Day in Northern Cyprus, a recognized annual holiday.
