Arrests in Nicosia
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on charges of robbery, causing bodily harm, assault and unlawful entry into a dwelling.
According to a police statement, the incident occurred yesterday at around 19:00. The suspect, D.R.S. (28), following a conflict, went to the home of a 36-year-old man, E.C., knocked on the door and entered the house. Holding a bottle of alcohol, he struck the victim on the head and, after the victim fell, continued to beat him.
The suspect then forcibly took the victim’s mobile phone and USD 1,600 in cash from his wallet and fled the scene. During the investigation, the attacker was identified and arrested.
