Tender Launched for Construction of Solar Power Plant in Haspolat
The Mayor of the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia (LTB), Mehmet Harmandji, announced the initiation of a tender for the construction of a solar power plant at the Haspolat treatment facilities. The project will receive financial support from the European Union.
In a statement on his social media page, the mayor highlighted that the municipality has taken the first step on behalf of local authorities. Companies are invited to participate in the tender until July 4th.
"We have been guided by the principle of sustainable development in all our endeavors, and after thorough technical preparation, another significant project has been launched. Many of our cities face infrastructure challenges, and we must recognize that a sustainable future requires resilient infrastructure," the mayor expressed.
