The World Travel Market in London has concluded: the TRNC stand attracted attention

One of the key platforms for the future of tourism — the World Travel Market (WTM) in London — has come to an end. The fair, held from 4 to 6 November 2025 at ExCeL London, brought together leading destinations, industry representatives and thousands of professionals. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus presented its stand, which became a centre of attention: visitors showed strong interest in the island’s natural beauty, cultural heritage and historical treasures.
The TRNC stand, organised as part of tourism promotion and marketing efforts, attracted tour operators, agencies and the media. Guests could learn about a peaceful and unique holiday in Northern Cyprus, as well as opportunities for new routes. According to the organisers, interest in the region grows every year, confirming the sustainability of TRNC tourism policy.
Visit of the Turkish Minister As part of the fair, the stand was visited by the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. He met with TRNC Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoglu, MP Ahmet Savaşan and tourism sector leaders. They discussed strengthening cooperation between Ankara and Nicosia, including joint marketing campaigns and experience exchange. Ataoglu noted: "Turkey's support is the key to success. Minister Ersoy's visit inspires new steps."
The fair highlighted the TRNC as a promising Mediterranean destination combining beach holidays, history and ecology. Experts expect an increase in tourist flow thanks to such events.
