An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 occurred off the coast of Cyprus this morning
According to the Seismology Service of the Meteorological Department, the earthquake was recorded at 06:31 local time, approximately 110 km from the "Akdeniz" station. Its magnitude was ML 3.7, with the epicenter located at sea, northwest of Cyprus, coordinates — 35.83° N, 31.92° E, depth — about 15 km.
Seismologists classified the event as light in strength. Since it occurred beneath the seabed, its effects on the coast were negligible, and no casualties or damages were reported.
