Nicosia Resident Wins 6 Million TL in New Year’s Lottery Jackpot
The New Year brought incredible luck to one resident of Nicosia, who claimed a massive 6 million Turkish lira jackpot in the Northern Cyprus New Year’s lottery draw.
The grand prize was part of the lottery organized by the Lottery Division of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The winning ticket, bearing the number 196289, was sold by Halil Bilener, a dealer based in Nicosia.
Looking ahead, the next lottery draw is set for January 15, 2025, with a jackpot of 1,750,000 TL. Tickets are already on sale for 200 TL each.
The Lottery Division of the Sports Department in Northern Cyprus reminds participants to check their tickets carefully on the official website, piyangolar.gov.ct.tr, before discarding them. You never know when luck might strike!
