Girne District Residents Warned of Potential Unexploded Ordnance
The Girne District Administration has warned residents about the possible presence of unexploded ordnance in the areas of Karpaşa, Özhan, and Kılıçarslan villages.
According to authorities, the Security Forces Command conducted heavy weapons training exercises in these areas from March 2 to March 6. Consequently, there is a possibility that unexploded shells remain on the ground.
Residents and those near the firing range are urged not to touch suspicious objects and to immediately report them to the relevant authorities to avoid risks to life and property.
