Residents of Famagusta complained about the theft of kebabs from the oven and gasoline from cars
More strange theft incidents have been recorded in Famagusta. Unknown thieves stole kebabs directly from the clay oven of one of the city's restaurants and siphoned gasoline from a car.
Hussein Gül, the owner of the renowned Hisar restaurant known for its kebabs, shared details about the theft of prepared meat on his social media page. In his statement, the restaurateur lamented that when he arrived at work in the morning, he couldn't find the kebabs he had left in the oven overnight to cook for the morning.
Sevda Serbülent, a resident of Famagusta living in the Maras district, reported the theft of gasoline from her car's tank. In an interview with "Cyprus Post," she mentioned filling her car with a thousand liras' worth of gasoline at night, only to find it empty in the morning. Additionally, the fuel tank cap was damaged.
"They started stealing gasoline from cars in Famagusta. We have no life and property security," said the affected resident, emphasizing that "they used to sleep at home with the door open."
