Peace and Freedom Museum

The Museum of Peace and Freedom in Alsancak, Kyrenia, is a must-visit for those who want to learn more about the Turkish troop landing in 1974. Located at the very site of the landing, the museum and monument offer a unique perspective on history and welcome visitors from many different countries every year.

The museum consists of outdoor and indoor areas. Outside, you can closely examine the vehicles and weapons left by the Greeks, and inside the museum, you can see photos of the events as well as belongings of those who participated.
