The ancient city of Soli
Description
Soli is an ancient city-state in the northwest of Cyprus, located in the Morphou Bay. Since 1974, it has been within the territory of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It is one of the 10 major city-states into which Cyprus was divided, mentioned in the lists of the Assyrian king Assurbanipal, who ruled from 680 to 669 BC.
