Our company, founded in 1993 as a technical service under the name Murat Elektronik, expanded its scope of activities by opening stores selling household appliances and electronics in Lefkoşa and Kyrenia in 1995, as well as providing technical support through a dealer network. In 2001, the company considered wholesale distribution proposals and opened 14 dealer centers across the island with the brands it distributed, gradually moving toward its goals step by step. In 2003, the company became the first brand distributor operating in Turkey, importing household appliances and air conditioners, and in the same year became a distributor of the Goldmaster brand, adding it to its portfolio.

In 2004, believing in the growing volume of business and institutionalization, we established Armar Electronics Ltd. to separate our sales and service activities. A new company was created. Our company became increasingly well-known in the markets thanks to air conditioners and household appliances we import from the Netherlands and the Far East.

In 2005, the company became a distributor of Tepe Mobilya, Turkey's most respected brand, and acquired the largest furniture store in Nicosia. In 2007, the company expanded its scope by starting to distribute laminate flooring under the patented German brand Egger, imported from Turkey.

In the second half of 2008, the company gained momentum in the development and growth of “White Goods,” “Electronics,” and “Air Conditioning” sectors thanks to its distributorship of the Blomberg brand within the German Koç Group. In 2010, the company became a distributor of the Grundig brand, also part of the Koç Group.

In June 2012, the e-commerce website armarshop.com was launched. In 2017, the company became a distributor of commercial air conditioning systems Arçelik&LG, also within the Koç Group. In 2018, the company expanded its activities by opening a 4000 m² furniture manufacturing facility under the brand B&B Woodworks.

The company provides services and sales across all regions of the TRNC through its extensive dealer network and is among the leading organizations in the sector, such as Armar Group.
