If you came to Northern Cyprus with a tourist visa and wish to extend your stay, you need to apply at the police station located at: Turkish Cypriot Police Headquarters. Visa extensions are processed on weekdays from 09:00 to 12:30.

Documents for visa extension

To extend your visa, you must have at least one of the following documents:

• Original stamped property sales contract. (May be obtained from mother, father, spouse, or children).
• Original title deed (proof of ownership).
• If staying at a hotel – an invoice from the hotel.

Situations when a visa is not extended

A visa will not be extended in the following cases:

• You live in a rented house.
