Millomeris Waterfalls — one of the most picturesque natural spots in Cyprus and a true delight for hiking enthusiasts. It is located in the Troodos Mountains near the village of Platres and is considered the highest waterfall on the island, with a height of up to 15 meters. Even in summer, it remains cool thanks to the mountain river Kryos Potamos ("Cold Water"), which feeds the waterfall year-round.

Brief Information and Features

Millomeris is a waterfall located on the Kryos Potamos river, in the vicinity of the village Pano Platres. Its name translates as "wet place", although another version traces it to an old mill that once stood nearby. The water drop is about 15 meters high, making Millomeris the tallest natural waterfall in Cyprus.

Even in the hottest months, the stream does not dry up, and at the base of the waterfall, a small natural icy pool forms, perfect for cooling off in the summer.

During the high season (summer and weekends), it can get crowded — tour groups often visit. To enjoy peace and nature, choose morning hours on a weekday.
