1st Antikristo Festival
For the first time in Cyprus, a festival dedicated to one of the most impressive culinary traditions — the preparation of "antikristo" meat — will take place. This is an ancient method of roasting (usually lamb), where pieces of meat are placed around a bonfire "face to face" with the flames, slowly cooking under the heat without direct contact with the fire.
Guests can expect:
• Skill demonstrations by professional "psatides" (meat roasters)
• Tasting of authentic tender meat with a unique smoky aroma
• Live folk music
• Drinks and traditional Cypriot hospitality
