The play “Alfred and Violetta” is a poignant love story inspired by the novel “The Lady of the Camellias”.
The play marked the beginning of the theatre’s history in 1981 and was completely rewritten by Rezo Gabriadze shortly before his passing, relocating the action to Tbilisi in the 1990s. It is a delicate, tragic, and poetic production about love, fate, and time.
