Australian-born comedian/actor/writer Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences worldwide with provocative, thought-provoking, and boundary-pushing humor.

Since the release of Contraband in 2008, he has released a total of ten stand-up specials, including the most recent, High & Dry (2023) on Netflix, his fifth for the streaming platform. In this special, dedicated to newlyweds and a life-loving wife and children, Jefferies reflects on lazy koalas, the injustice of male-pattern baldness, and why he will never drink again.

Jefferies has also appeared in film and television, including the comedy series Legit, for which he was co-writer, executive producer, and lead actor on FX. Jim was host and co-creator of the popular Comedy Central series The Jim Jefferies Show, which ran for three seasons from 2017 to 2019.

In 2019, Jim was awarded Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs festival.
