Adonis and Aphrodite Trail Hike

A scenic hike along one of Cyprus's most beautiful routes — the circular Adonis and Aphrodite trail. Participants can expect a medium-difficulty route of about 10 km with an elevation gain of around 330 meters, lasting approximately 4 hours with stops. The trail passes through black pine and juniper forests, leading to the ruins of the medieval Pyrgos tis Rigenas monastery and a famous oak tree approximately 860 years old. From the hilltop, views open up to Polis Chrysochous Bay, the Akamas forest, and the peninsula's coastline. It is recommended to bring water, comfortable shoes, and trekking poles if necessary.
