Tribute to Vicky Stylianou

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra dedicates a concert in memory of pianist and orchestrator Vicky Stylianou, conducted by honorary conductor Alkis Baltas, featuring Maurice Ravel’s Pavane pour une infante défunte, Weber’s Andante and Rondo Ungarese, and Makbule by Alkis Baltas performed by one of Greece’s leading violists, Antonis Manias; the program concludes with the spiritually rich and meditative Symphony No. 6 “Celestial Gate” by Alan Ovaness, creating an atmosphere of elevated symphonic contemplation.
