Exhibition "Ex-Libris and Occasional Prints"
The exhibition is dedicated to bookplates (ex-libris) — engravings and owner marks placed on the inside cover of a book. The exposition introduces visitors to the history of the ex-libris from the 16th to the 21st century, showing how this tradition evolved from handwritten notes to printed engravings used in private and public libraries. Featured works include coats of arms of aristocratic families, names of book owners with mottos and symbolic drawings, as well as various examples of artistic engraving demonstrating the development of this art form. Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 17:00 in winter; in summer from 10:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 18:00.
