Exploring the Villages of Akamas
Salonica View invites you on a one-day trip through the picturesque and authentic villages of the Akamas region — a route where nature, history, and traditional Cypriot architecture come together in a single day.
The tour begins early in the morning with departure from Nicosia, with stops in Kofinou and Limassol. The first main stop on the route is Kathikas, a cozy village known for its traditional buildings, wine culture, and peaceful squares, where you can enjoy coffee and a leisurely stroll.
Next, the journey continues through Arodes — a village with characteristic stone architecture and panoramic views of the mountains and natural landscapes of the Paphos region.
The following stop is Inia, where participants will visit the Sea Turtle Museum. The exhibition covers the species of turtles found off the coast of Cyprus, their biology, ecological role, and conservation programs.
The trip concludes with a stop at Droushia Hotel, where guests can have lunch and relax before returning.
