Clear Weather with Mountain Showers Expected in Cyprus on August 12
According to the Cyprus Department of Meteorology, seasonal low pressure will continue to influence the region on Monday, August 12.
In the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear. However, in the mountainous areas, there may be occasional cloud cover, leading to isolated showers.
The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures will reach up to 39°C in inland areas, 33°C on the western coast, around 35°C on the other coasts, and up to 31°C in the mountainous regions. By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to 25°C in inland areas, as well as on the southeastern and northern coasts, 24°C on the western coast, and down to 21°C in the mountains.
In the coming days, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear, although there may be occasional localized cloudiness in the mountains, which could result in isolated showers.
Air temperatures over the next three days are expected to remain largely unchanged and above the seasonal average.
