Cyprus Weather Forecast for May 12: Cloudy Skies, No Rain
Cloudy skies and dry conditions are expected across Cyprus on Monday, May 12, according to the Cyprus Department of Meteorology. A moderate low-pressure system is currently influencing the region.
During the morning hours, increased mid- and high-level cloud cover will be present, and the sea will be somewhat rough.
Temperatures during the day are forecast to rise to around 30°C inland, 25–28°C along the coast, and about 21°C in the mountains. Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear. Overnight temperatures will fall to around 15°C inland, 17°C on the coasts, and 9°C in mountainous areas.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, more cloud cover is expected, with isolated showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon, particularly in mountainous areas, inland regions, and the east. Hail is also possible during stormy conditions.
Temperatures will drop slightly on Tuesday, while Wednesday will see little to no change. A slight rise is expected on Thursday. Overall, temperatures over the next few days will remain close to or just below the seasonal average.
