Morning Showers Expected in Cyprus Mountains on May 15
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, moderately high pressure is gradually moving into the region on Thursday, May 15.
During the morning and early afternoon, increased cloud cover is expected in some areas, with scattered showers likely, especially in the mountainous regions. The sea will be slightly rough.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach around 30°C inland, 24–27°C along the coasts, and about 21°C in the mountains.
By evening, skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy. In the early morning hours, patchy fog and low clouds may form in some areas.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to about 16°C inland, 17°C on the coasts, and around 10°C in the mountains.
Looking ahead to Friday and the weekend, the weather will be mostly clear, although occasional cloud cover is expected. Dust in the atmosphere may become more noticeable at times. Temperatures will rise significantly by Saturday, before dropping noticeably on Sunday.
