Sunny Weather with Occasional Showers Expected in Cyprus on September 19

According to the Meteorological Department of the Republic of Cyprus, on Thursday, September 19, the island will be under the influence of weak low pressure, with unstable weather conditions expected to develop from Friday onwards.

In the morning, the weather will be mostly sunny, though occasional cloud cover may bring isolated showers, particularly in the eastern and northern parts of the island.

The forecast predicts that daytime temperatures will reach around 32°C in the inland, southeast, and eastern coastal areas, 29°C on the southwest, west, and northern coasts, and 24°C in the mountainous regions.

By evening and into the night, the weather will remain mostly clear, with some increased cloudiness. There’s a chance of isolated rain in the northern parts of the island. Overnight, temperatures will drop to 18°C inland, 20°C along the coasts, and 12°C in the higher mountains.

Looking ahead, the weather is expected to remain mostly sunny over the next few days, with occasional cloud cover. Clouds could form during midday, bringing the possibility of isolated thunderstorms, especially in the mountains and the eastern half of the island.

Temperatures are not expected to change significantly through Friday and will remain close to the seasonal average.
