20-year-old arrested for kiosk robbery in Larnaca district
Police have arrested a 20-year-old in connection with a kiosk robbery in the Larnaca district of Cyprus. The incident occurred around 19:05 on Sunday in Livadia.
According to police, the perpetrator entered the kiosk with his face covered by a scarf, went behind the counter, pushed the 71-year-old owner, and demanded money from the cash register. After €20 was stolen from the till, the suspect fled on foot.
Investigative measures were carried out at the scene. Based on witness testimony, a judicial arrest warrant was issued. The suspect was located and detained by Larnaca police officers around 01:30. He remains in custody.
