Clear Skies and Rising Temperatures Expected Across Cyprus on May 20
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, moderate high pressure will affect the region on Tuesday, May 20. Dust in the atmosphere is expected to linger until Sunday.
During the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear. The sea will be slightly rough.
Temperatures today are expected to reach around 31°C inland, 25–27°C along the coasts, and about 22°C in the mountains.
In the evening, the weather will remain mostly clear. However, by early morning, some areas—especially inland and in the southeast—may experience light fog and low clouds.
Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 15°C inland, 17°C along the coast, and 14°C in mountainous areas.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the weather will stay mostly clear. Temperatures will rise significantly, climbing well above average for this time of year.
