Brief Showers Expected in Cyprus's Mountain Regions on April 28
According to the Republic of Cyprus Meteorological Department, moderate low pressure will prevail over the region on Monday, April 28. A thin layer of dust will also linger in the atmosphere.
The day will start off mostly clear, but cloud cover is expected to build in the afternoon, bringing the chance of isolated showers, mainly in mountainous areas. The sea will be slightly rough.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach around 27°C inland, 23–25°C along the coasts, and about 17°C in the mountains.
Tonight and into early Tuesday morning, the weather will remain mostly clear, although some areas may experience patches of low cloud around dawn. Overnight temperatures will fall to around 11°C inland, 14°C on the coasts, and 7°C in the mountains.
On Tuesday, conditions will again be mostly clear, but increased cloudiness during the day could lead to isolated showers, especially in the mountains. Temperatures are expected to remain stable over the coming days, staying close to the seasonal average.
