Sunny Weather Expected in Cyprus on May 28, with Rain Possible in the Mountains

According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, moderate low atmospheric pressure is expected to influence the region on Wednesday, May 28.

The weather during the morning hours will be mostly sunny. However, by the afternoon, clouds are expected to build up in some areas, particularly over the mountains, where isolated showers may occur. The sea will be slightly rough.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach around 32°C inland, 25–27°C along the coast, and 22°C in the higher mountain regions.

Tonight, the skies will remain mostly clear. However, during the early morning hours, there is a chance of localized low cloud or light fog forming. Overnight temperatures will drop to around 18°C inland, 20°C in coastal areas, and 10°C in the mountains.

Thursday is expected to follow a similar pattern, with mostly sunny weather overall, but some areas may experience increased cloudiness during the day, and isolated showers are again possible in mountainous regions.

Temperatures are not expected to change significantly over the next three days and will remain slightly below the seasonal average.
