On May 29th, Cyprus is expected to experience brief rains, heat, and dust until the evening
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Wednesday, May 29th, the region will be affected by weak low pressure. There will be occasional light dust in the atmosphere, which will gradually settle by the evening.
During the first half of the day, locally increased cloudiness will be observed, leading to brief rains and possibly thunderstorms, especially in the mountains and in the north. Later in the afternoon, rain is expected in the inland areas of the country.
According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature will rise to 30°C inland during the day, up to 27°C on the coast, and up to 21°C in the mountainous areas. By evening, the weather will be predominantly clear, but there may be increased low cloudiness in some coastal areas.
The air temperature will drop to 16°C inland, 18°C on the coasts, and 10°C in the mountainous regions.
Until Friday, the air temperature will remain at the same level, but on Saturday, it will rise, fluctuating above the average seasonal climatic values.
