Storm "Bora" Brings Heavy Thunderstorms and Hail to Cyprus on December 3
The Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus reports that storm “Bora,” which earlier impacted central Greece, has now reached the island.

Morning Weather Conditions
During the first half of the day, the weather is expected to be cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Hail is likely during thunderstorms, and some areas could experience heavy and prolonged rainfall.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach approximately 17°C inland and along the coast, while mountainous regions are expected to see highs of around 8°C.
Evening Forecast
By evening, cloudy weather will persist, accompanied by localized showers and thunderstorms across the island. These may be intense or prolonged in certain areas. Thunderstorms are likely to bring hail, and sleet is expected in the mountains.
Nighttime temperatures are predicted to drop to about 11°C inland, 13°C along the coast, and 5°C in mountainous areas.
Wednesday Outlook
On Wednesday, the weather will remain mostly cloudy, with localized showers and isolated thunderstorms, particularly during the morning. Thunderstorms may bring hail and strong gusty winds. Gradually, the storm’s intensity is expected to diminish after midday.
Temperature Trends
Temperatures will remain slightly below seasonal averages through Thursday. However, a slight rise is expected by Friday, bringing temperatures closer to the typical levels for this time of year.
