Rain, Thunderstorms, Snow, and Frost Expected in Cyprus on February 5
The Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department has reported that a cold air mass and strengthening northerly winds will affect the region on Wednesday, February 5.
The morning hours will be mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms expected. In the higher mountains, wet snow is likely.
Temperature Forecast:
- Daytime temperatures will reach around 15°C inland, 17°C along the coast, and 7°C in mountainous areas.
- Evening and overnight, the weather will remain partly cloudy, with localized showers, mainly in the west and north. Wet snow is expected in higher-altitude and some mountainous regions.
- Nighttime temperatures will drop to around 4°C inland, 6°C along the coast, and -1°C in the mountains, where frost is expected to form.
On Thursday, temperatures will drop further, falling below seasonal averages. No significant changes are expected on Friday, while a slight warming trend is forecast for Saturday.
