Strong Winds and Dust Persist Over Cyprus on March 5
The Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus reports that weak low pressure and strong northeasterly winds will continue to affect the region on Wednesday, March 5. Dust will also remain in the atmosphere.
In the morning, cloud cover is expected to increase, with dust concentrations temporarily rising.
According to the forecast, daytime temperatures will reach around 20°C inland, 21°C along the southern and eastern coasts, and 10°C in the mountains.
By evening, mid- and high-level clouds will temporarily increase, but skies will gradually clear later in the night.
Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 7°C inland, 9-12°C along the coast, and 4°C in mountainous areas.
Thursday’s weather will be mostly clear, while Friday will see a temporary increase in mid- and high-level cloud cover. On Saturday, skies will be predominantly clear again. Temperatures are expected to gradually rise slightly until Friday.
