Hot Weather Continues in Cyprus on June 7, with Possible Mountain Showers
The Cyprus Department of Meteorology reports that on Friday, June 7, the region will be under the influence of a warm air mass. Occasionally, fine dust will be suspended in the atmosphere.
The morning will be mostly clear but very warm. In the afternoon, increased cloudiness could lead to isolated showers, mainly in the mountains, though some interior areas might also see rain.
According to the meteorological service, daytime temperatures are expected to reach up to 44°C in inland areas, 38°C on the southern and eastern coasts, and 34°C on other coasts and in the mountains.
In the evening, the weather will remain mostly clear but warm. Temperatures will drop to 27°C inland, 25°C on the coasts, and 22°C in the mountains.
For the weekend, the weather is expected to be mostly clear initially, but clouds and isolated showers are anticipated during and after midday.
By Monday, temperatures will gradually decrease significantly, though they will remain above the seasonal average.
