Foggy Morning and Sunny Day Expected in Cyprus on August 9
According to the Meteorological Department of the Republic of Cyprus, seasonal low pressure continues to influence the region on Friday, August 9.
This morning, after the fog and low clouds dissipate, the weather will be mostly clear, although some areas may experience periods of increased cloud cover.
The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures will reach up to 38°C in inland areas, 32°C on the western and southwestern coasts, around 34°C on other coasts, and up to 31°C in the mountainous regions.
By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear, with some areas possibly experiencing increased low cloud cover. Fog is expected to develop in certain areas during the night and early morning, particularly in inland regions and the southeast of the island.
Overnight temperatures will drop to 22°C in inland areas, 24°C along the coasts, and 20°C in the mountainous regions.
Looking ahead to Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear, with occasional periods of increased cloudiness. However, a brief, isolated shower is possible in the mountains.
On Saturday, temperatures will remain steady, but they are expected to gradually rise through Monday, staying slightly above the seasonal average.
