Alexander Kokorin became the best player in Cyprus in 2023
The Russian forward of the Cypriot football club "Aris" has been recognized as the best player in Cyprus in 2023 by the Union of Sports Journalists of the country. Last season, the team from Limassol became the country's champion for the first time.
In addition to the Russian, three more players from the team - Vana Alves, Kazhu, Karol Struski - were included in the symbolic team. The football club itself received an award at the awards ceremony as the best team of the year.
It is worth noting that in September of last year, "Fiorentina" once again loaned Alexander Kokorin to "Aris". As a result, last season, the 32-year-old Russian was recognized as the best player in the Cyprus Championship. The footballer played 21 matches for "Aris", scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists.
