Arrest in Larnaca after seizure of nearly 24 kg of cannabis
On Tuesday, a 26-year-old man was detained at Larnaca airport following a customs inspection, during which a large quantity of cannabis was found in his luggage, police reported.
During the search at around 17:30, 44 packages of dry cannabis were discovered, weighing a total of 23.946 kg. The narcotic substance was confiscated by law enforcement officers.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody. According to police, the investigation of the incident is ongoing.
