Bank of Cyprus offers aid to those affected by the Limassol fire
The Bank of Cyprus (BoC) on Friday announced a new financial support package for residents and businesses affected by a major fire.
In an official statement, the bank said it is ready to provide assistance through preferential loans and emergency supplies. The program covers both individual customers and small enterprises impacted by the fire.
Support includes covering expenses for property restoration, temporary accommodation, and other urgent needs. Interest-free short-term loans are also available for covering emergency expenses.
Bank of Cyprus emphasizes that these measures complement state initiatives and are intended to provide prompt assistance to the most affected groups.
Bank representatives noted that the aid terms are flexible and will be tailored to each applicant’s circumstances. Applications can be submitted via online banking or at the nearest branch.
The program is expected to remain in effect until the fire’s consequences are fully addressed. The bank urged clients and communities to reach out through available support channels.
